Advantages: Helps numb toothache

Disadvantages: can damage gums if used too often

The best for toothache, due to it`s local analgesic properties. It really does work, just a small drop on a piece of cotton wool, placed on the painful area. It numbs it, and keeps you going till you can get to the dentist.

It`s best used only when pain killers are not effective.
It shouldn`t be used too often though, just when really needed, as it can damage gums.

My dentist even recommends it, as a one off, for real bad toothache.

It is also a strong antiseptic & insect repellant.
