Last week as I was getting out of bed to answer the phone (7.15am) I pulled my back really really badly. I was in so much pain I wanted to cry. As I believe that I have a high pain barrier this was unusual for me to want to cry, I even had all 5 children without the aid of painkillers so I knew that I had done something quite bad. I ... I am unlucky enough to suffer from headaches quite often which sometimes progress into migraines, thankfully the migraines are quite rare. I have all sorts of different tablets in the house, paracetamol, ibruprofen, migraleve and recently came across Co-codamol whilst shopping online. I've heard that these are generally quite good so decided to ... Read the complete review

I have been getting really bad headaches pretty much every day for a few weeks, and have been going through different ways to get rid of them. I've tried 4head, I've tried Ibuprofen, and today I went to the pharmacy and asked for the strongest pain-killers they could do without a prescription. The rather dubious question they asked me ... I try and avoid codeine wherever possible. Not only is it habit-forming (and it is, a number of people have struggled to wean themselves off codeine) but it also leaves you with a dry mouth, feeling woozy and light-headed and makes you prone to constipation. Saying that for severe pain it is very effective. It does numb the pain of ... Read the complete review

Whenever I have a headache, or a bad cold I know that what I need is the combination of paracetemol and codeine to relive my symptoms. Im not a fan of paracetemol by itsself and I dont think it has ever helped me with anything. So these are the tablets I will turn to for any pain except when it is muscular and ibuprofen works much better ... Read the complete review

When I injured my knee last year I took Co-Codamol Tablets That were prescibed to me by the Doctor at the A&E in hospital. I found they worked really well to get rid of the pain not just in my knee but all the aches and pains I was suffering with at the time. I found they also made me feel really relaxed. As for side ... Co-codamol Due to the road traffic accident I was recently in I have been prescribed these painkillers, these can be bought at the chemist with advise from the dispensary and also prescribed by your doctor. I advise you to see your doctor before taking these as they are very strong painkillers and can affect you in certain ways if ... Read the complete review

If I am in pain for any reason I usually try not to take tablets as they don't really seem to work for me and I hate the feeling of taking tablets. Not to mention the fact that nowadays pain medication, unless on prescription, can be massively expensive. My first experience of co-codamol was about 5 years ago when I was in a car crash ... DO NOT TAKE THESE TABLETS IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR BREAST FEEDING. Co-codamol can be used effectively for mild to severe pain. Co-codamol is available in two doses 8/500 (8mg of codeine phosphate and 500mg paracetamol) and 30/500 (30mg of codeine phosphate and 500mg of paracetamol). The 8/500 co-codamol is available in ... When I started university, the first thing I did was register with a doctor – not really because I’m all that sensible, but just because my knee was playing up and I wanted someone to have a look at it. Along I trotted to a rather run little surgery in Moss Side – you know, the kind where people queue up outside offering to buy ... Read the complete review
