A while ago I suffered some temporary deafness and quite a lot of ear pain after some water became stuck in my ears. I have this habit of submerging my head under the water when I have a bath and so after a telling off from my doctor about doing this I was advised to try swim ear which is designed to help clear trapped ear water. The product comes in a blue box with a picture of the bottle splashing into water. In large yellow lettering it tells us that the product clears trapped ear water. My daugther has loved swimming from an early age, but with swimming came ear infections, it got so bad one time my doctor suggested the possibility of grommits in her ears. It was then that a friend recomended Swim-ear to me, I went straight to my local chemist to get some, it cost £4:99 and it was worth every penny. You get 29.57ml 1 fl oz of swim-ear in a white bottle, which is then packaged within a blue box with a picture of the bottle on it splashing in water. I swim a lot and also do a bit of diving, however I kept getting ear infections which of course kept me out of the water for a period of time while treating the problem. I would find my training was coming along nicely, I would get an infection the Doctor would give me drops and would have to keep out of the water for two weeks so my training was rubbish as was so interrupted. After taking a look on the internet it was suggested that the reason I was getting so many infections was because I kept getting water trapped in my ear and therefore it stagnates and then causes the infection.
