These used to be what I took whenever I had a cold, just because they totally dried it up and stopped my nose dripping like a tap.

Then they changed the formula. Basically they took out the one ingredient that made any difference, belladonna alkaloids and replaced it with, wel, nothing.

I've tried the new formula and it makes not a jot of difference at all.

It annoys me that they take out an effective ingredient from OTC medication because there are certain people who an't/shouldn't use it (in this instance the ingredient is dangerous to people with impaired kidney function)

Why not just print a warning?

I've never found anything else that works anywhere near as well.
