I'm not a great lover of pumping my body with chemicals but there are times (especially when you have children) when you just haven't got time to be ill. When I get a cold that leaves my nose streaming, I have to reach for the Contac 400's. Whilst they make you feel as though you are on a different planet (there are those that would say I'm always on a different planet?!), they do dry up the cold so that at least you can function relatively normally, until you are over the worst. Each capsule lasts for 12 hours so in theory you take 2 per day. However, I find that as long as I function normally during the day then I can dispense with the night time capsule. They come in 3 and 6 day packs but the sooner I stop taking them the better so I only take them for the first day or so.

Summary:
