Halls Soothers Throat Tablets ... with most people I have sucumbed to the cough and cold that is doing the rounds at the moment. After having the swine flu in the summer I had hoped that I had my quota but unfortunately not. Tunes Cherry Sugar Free Throat Lozenges ... ve got a mad cold that is absolutely doing my head in now, after a crappy couple of days I m left with a bit of a sore throat and a snuffly nose and horrible as that is I do feel loads better than I did. Now I m taking plain paracetamol and also using a variety of Lockets and Tunes because they do make my symptoms better and these Cherry flavoured Tunes are delish as well. They come in little boxes that remind me of a fag packet and that shows how long it s been since I ve needed to buy anything for a cold because they used to come in a normal packet like Lockets. Beechams Flu Plus Hot Lemon ... ve got a stinking cold, I can t use the words that would most accurately describe how I feel on a family site like Dooyoo but I do feel nasty. My mum even shipped my 2 year old sister to my aunt s and banned her mate who s got bad ashma from visiting in case I d got swine flu! Yesterday I went to see the doc though and it s not it s just (in his words): "A very severe cold or mild flu". Either way all he could advise me to take was paracetamol, ibuprofen and cough medicine but I ve already been taking them for 2 days and they hadn t been doing anything.
