Boots Cold & Flu Relief Lemon ... week was an incredibly busy one for me. My mate is getting divorced and we had a massive house clearance to undertake and needed to set her up in a new home (in a caravan lol) and the house we were moving her out of took 5 hours one way from my house in a car and meant an early 4am start from mine! I suffer with ill health anyway as I have an eating disorder and various other issues I don t want to moan about but basically me and her worked like dogs, were in and out of her house and on our feet for almost 24 hours solid at one point and in the tip in the rain and all-sorts! Strepsils Lozenges ... don t normally take any kind of lozenges or anything when i have a sore throat but i thought this time i would try out the new strepsil cool lozenges which come in a tube. I was skeptical at first as i have used strepsils and other throat lozenges in the past and they haven t seemed to help at all. I was also put off slightly by the amount of lozenges in the tube as there is only 10 and it says to take one every 2-3 hours, so they don t really last long. However, i took 3 of the lozenges in one day after suffering from a sore throat and the next day i felt much better and didn t really need to take anymore. Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Lemon ... woke up this morning with a throat that feels like I ve gargled sand and a head full of snot on the verge of exploding. Unfortunately going back to bed and hibernating under the duvet until I feel like something vaguely resembling a human occurs. A quick raid of the bathroom cabinet revealed a haul of Calpol and other assorted fruity flavoured pharmaceuticals suitable for the under sixes. The selection for us over 6s was considerably less appealing. Cherry menthol antiseptic throat lozenges or Lemsip Max. It was a no brainer.
