I recently wrote a review on Scholl Athlete's Foot Cream and how disappointed I was when it didn't work. The recent bout of freezing weather has aggravated my symptoms again, or perhaps it's me aggravating them again with the car heater blasting hot air down on to my feet again!! Anyway I decided to try a different treatment this time as the itch was becoming unbearable again. On my last Athlete's Foot Treatment review I was given some friendly advice from "duncantorr" to perhaps try Daktarin (thanks for that!) so off I went to my local Tesco to try and find some. I did not want a cream treatment this time as I felt the cream only worsened my symptoms by ... Read the complete review

Athletes Foot = = = = = = A lot of people suffer from Athlete's foot which is a common condition caused by a fungal infection. Just because you have athlete's foot doesn't mean you have poor hygiene or dirty feet. Athlete's foot can be cause by sweating in tight shoes or trainers which can cause a build-up of bacteria which is how the fungal infection starts. The dark, warm conditions in shoes are the perfect place for this bacteria. Athlete foot normally appears in between the toes and can be itchy, red and sore. Some of the skin may be broken or flaking off as well. There are lots of antifungal sprays, creams and other treatments that can treat athlete's ... Read the complete review

I get annoyed enough in the summer as it is and another thing to bother me is my sweaty feet (they aren't overly sweaty and don't smell just to clear that up). The problem with my feet seems to be any excess heat from a warm day and being cooped up in shoes all day makes them have a tantrum and put me through the itch scratch cycle. I had my first irritating symptoms of athlete's foot when I was about 10 years old and have used creams and powders throughout the years. Creams tend to be a little messy and cause even more moisture between the toes; equally powders are very messy to apply but they do take away the moisture which is the main reason for the ... My husband is a regular at our local swimming baths, just occasionally he manages to pick up a dose of Athlete's Foot thanks to the unhygienic few who love to share all there nasty afflictions. Usually the first sign that my husband has Athlete's foot is him mentioning that between his toes feels itchy; I am then dispatched to my knees to inspect the offending area. Not being a fan of feet this is something I dread. I can usually tell if he has Athlete's foot as his skin is red and sore looking and small patches are starting to peel off between his toes. After trying out various creams and powders with little or no success I fetched him some ... Read the complete review

My preferred product to treat my feet whenever I get athletes foot is Daktarin Dual Action Spray, the only time I do not use it is if the skin has become cracked and then using a spray can sometimes mena that it will get inflamed and be a bit painful, at those times I plump for a powder such as School or Daltarin. Even though this product says that it is a powder spray and it does turn your foot white I would still not use it on cracked skin. The spray contains Miconazole which is used to fight the fungal infection, it is really easy to use, just spray it onto the infected area after it has been wasked and thoroughly dried, to ensure your foot is fully dry my ...
