I have a confession to make...I have a problem with fungal infection. I contracted ringworm many many years ago from contact with animals and while I can go years without being bothered by it, whenever I am ill, stressed out or run down it pops up and makes a reappearance just when I least want to see it! I've had a tough few months recently so bingo, right on schedule the ringworm rears its ugly head, in the form of little round scabby looking marks on my upper arms. I can't bear humid weather, finding it impossible to keep your skin dry even when you don't actually feel hot and clothes sticking to you, and I'm sure most of you will agree this summer has been a particularly humid one. So much so I noticed when I stepped out of the shower each day and tried to dry myself off I just couldn't get rid of the moisture on my skin.
