Ah - Deep Heat rub! A wonder product that (in my household at least), is *always* the first port of call for muscular aches, sprains and pulls. Certainly one of the finest products to come out of East Kilbride, it can be a good alternative to anti-inflammatories in pill form (including Ibuprofen) and increases the options of cautious consumers who don't wish to build up their natural resistance to the effectiveness of such generic drugs. The product is available in a range of sizes (including the very handy 67g and 100g ones, which are more than suitable for treating a specific muscular injury for a period of a week or two). I typically buy the 67g one at a ... Read the complete review

I often get a stiff neck and sore shoulder. Mainly, I'm sure, through not sitting in the correct position and not taking enough breaks whilst using my PC at work. Overclicking my mouse can also cause a shooting pain to travel up my right arm, which can result in a stiff neck and sore shoulder from my protesting muscles. It's not really a serious enough ache or pain to warrant a visit to my doctor or even the osteopath, but I do tend to reach for the Deep Heat cream in order to relieve some of the pain. ~~ What is it and how do you use it? ~~ Deep Heat is a topical pain relieving cream, which is easily applied by rubbing into the aching part of your ... As we all know the weather has been just awful the last couple of days. I was fed up of being in doors yesterday so decided to hike up to my friends house and play. I had both the boys in the pram and we got to a steep hill and my foot slipped out from underneath me and I smacked down onto my knees. My first thought was 'ouch', my second was thank god I didn't let go of the pram or the boys would have been in the road and my third was, I hope no one was watching. I managed to get up and push the pram to my friends house without another fall but my knee was in agony so she handed me some 'Deep heat' to see if that would help. Deep heat is a menthol type cream ... Read the complete review

Deep Heat Fast Relief Rub Description: For muscular aches and pains. If you have never used this stuff, it is a tube of cream which is recgnisable by the bright red packaging and the words Deep Heat in large letters on the front. Before using, make sure that the seal is not broken. A 35g tube costs less than £3. It is basically a cream which is designed to be applied topically (be careful where you apply it, read the instructions and avoid sensitive areas. Also avoid if you have any kind of sensitivity to the ingredients) to help alleviate muscular aches and pains. Be very careful to wash your hands properly after applying too, to ... The day I became a scarlet woman. For years I slept with the bedroom windows open - good, healthy fresh air! However I have recently experienced excruciating pains in the upper parts of both my arms, worse in the arm nearer the window. Doubtless this has been caused by the 'fresh air' i.e. draught. So habits have had to change. Windows closed, warmer bed wear, an extra layer over my arms. Yes, that should stop the pain getting worse. But how to alleviate the pain? Having tried countless hot baths, hot showers, heat pads, ibuprofim pain relief gel, I finally purchased a tube of Deep Heat Pain Relief heat rub. Deep Heat Pain Relief heat ...
