A serious back injury, and long-term problems as a result of, mean I am supposed to take high strength Ibuprofen tablets several times a day. I'm not keen on taking these tablets as I'm aware of how bad they are for the stomach so I decided to give the gel a try. I bought a 50g tube for about £4.50 from Boots, this was a few months ago so the price may have changed since. The product contains a percentage of ibuprofen and levomenthol which should work to decrease inflammation and numb the area respectively. Ugh, what is that gross minty smell, and why does the skin on my neck have such a strong tingling sensation. aaagh! Well, the answer is more than likely because about 10 minutes ago I applied some deep relief ibuprofen gel. I was told to buy some gel to rub into my shoulder and neck to alleviate the (STILL) painful whiplash soreness. So I diligently went off to Boots and looked up my options. The brand recommended wasn't there, so I looked at the other three and took them to the counter for advice.
