Advantages: A nice scent and leaves hands clean and germ free.

Disadvantages: None for me.

Most of the anti-bacterial soaps you will find these days come in the form of liquid hand wash in pump dispensers and this is usually what my wife buys but lately she has been buying Dettol anti-bacterial block soap and it is a great soap in my opinion.

The only problem with a block soap is that you can easily leave some of the dirt from your hands on the bar bur a simple rinse under the cold water tap after use stops this.

I love the smell of this even if it is a bit clinical and dentist or hospital like, I think that helps you to feel your hands are properly clean and germ free.

The bar is a pale yellow colour and might not look as attractive and funky as many of the soap bars these days but it cleans very well and leaves your hands feeling very soft, very clean and germ free.

I have no idea what you might expect to pay for a bar of this normally but I do know that my wife is getting it for two bars for one pound from the pound shop right now and I hope the offer lasts so she will continue to buy it as this is gardening season and I like this soap for when I am finished in the garden.

Summary: A very good anti-bacterial block soap.
