Advantages: See op
Disadvantages: As with all headache things, the packs are small
For all my (albeit not very long) life I have never been able to swallow (we’re talking about TABLETS, ok?) No matter what they were, vitamins, pain killers, flu relief or whatever, I couldn’t get them down and as a result this got me down. I discovered Disprin Direct a few years ago and have been a happy bunny ever since. These pills are just standard pain relief tablets – they contain 300 mg Aspirin and, according to the packet, can relieve „mild to moderate“ pain. They also „relieve the symptoms of influenza, feverishness, feverish colds and ease sore throats. From a personal point of view I’ve found that they are great for getting rid of head aches and period pains, as well as making me feel better when I’ve got a cold and have to go to work and serve customers all day, or get through a particularly hairy exam. They’re also incredible at making you sound normal when you’re „all bunged up“ and have to give a presentation or make it through an oral exam. The reason they work for me is that they are 100% chewy. You don’t need to dissolve them or anything, you just stick them in your mouth and, well, eat them. I think they taste quite ok, although my friends have made comments along the lines of „they ming“ after trying them. Because of the lack of water needed, they are also a welcome relief when you are travelling and don’t have any fluids to hand. Disprin Direct works quickly and effectively, and although I would not go so far as to say they are the best pain relief product on the market, they work for me. As with all Aspirin containing products, there is a recommended dosage which is clearly stated on the back of the pack. Each box also comes with a detailed leaflet that should be read before you take them and which gives info about what to do if you OD etc. For more info check out the website at www.disprin.com
