Last Saturday I was hit by one of the many bugs that loiter
to catch us when we least expect them .
I had felt very well the day before ,I had been helping my son
while he was suffering from pluerisy.I gave Him some homeopathic medicine some I had sucess with years ago with the same illness Bryonia for one.
He is now well again .
Back to me I had just been up to my local shop ,and had called Fluffy in because fireworks were begining ,all of a sudden I was unable to swallow ,and had a pain as if I had swollen glass.The first remedy I took was Pulsatilla 30c a homeopathic remedy ,this was because my nose felt very stuffed up ,so it was my first choice.By the next morning I could swallow again thank goodness.
I had also deliberately stayed without food for 24 hours and let the fever I had run its course ,this is the quickest and safest way to lose a virus.Also a good tip of how to recover from Influenza.
Well my sore throat developed into a persistant irritating cough ,making me feel as if I was going to choke.So I rang my Doctor who is also a Homeopath to check with Him about the next remedy,we need to seek help when we are ill even if we have some Knowledge of Homeopathy ,because the illness disturbs our focus.He said you have chosen well up to now ,but try some Drosera.So I rang the Homeopathic pharmacy,and ordered some that night it worked!!!!
Yes I know I need to tell you more about Drosera :the homeopathic remedy is taken from the *Sundew* plant a carnivourus insect insect eating plant ,likle cures like so it helps to expel sticky mucus out of the throat particularly,you know that feeling that you could choke because it wont come up Drosera really helps this,it is also a remedy for whooping cough ,and some forms of tuberculosis.
some other symptoms it can help are pain in the thighs,wjich I have had too and lame feelings in limbs ,we get these with bad virus symptoms dont we and or Influenza.
