Advantages: Good value for money, works quickly

Disadvantages: Smells a bit icky

I love this stuff, last night I woke up with inordinately itchy legs and I was desperately trying not to scratch them (husband always nudges me if he thinks I'm scratching) but I couldn't get back to sleep.

I got up for a wee and put some of this on, went back to bed and suddenly it was 0530 and time to get up. Brilliant. It doesn't even sting. Doesn't smell great though.

I would recommend you put it in your first aid kit and certainly never go on holiday without it. I would say that you shouldn't put it on broken skin though.

It's a little greasy so you need to be careful with your clothes but it comes in a good sized tube and is pretty good value for money. It doesn't have the side effects that are often associated with Hydrocortisone creams (although I suspect that side effects from them are rare) so is more suitable for youngsters.

Summary: Great for avoiding steroid creams, must have this in your travel first aid kit!
