Folic acid - why buy this one and why buy it at all?! Well this brand of folic acid was bought from an online supermarket. It was cheap (£1.99 for 90 tabs). This is the first important step with this type of tablet. Current recommedations are that any potential mothers shop start taking them when they start trying for a baby - not necessarily when they become pregnant.
