Gaviscon Double Action is a variation on the normal Gaviscon tablets, which are known to aid with heartburn and indigestion. What's so special about this product is that it not only neutralises excess stomach acid quickly, but also forms a 'raft' over your stomach contents to help prevent acid from coming up into the oesophagus. A couple of weeks ago we decided after having our dinner on the Friday to brave our local Tesco Express and get the weekly food shop out of the way so that we could have the weekend free. I don't often get indigestion but when I do I always use Gaviscon Double Action Tablets. I got my last packet from Boots and they were £4.99 for 32 tablets. They come in a turquoise and pink box with Gaviscon Double Action Tablets on the front. They are for heartburn and indigestion and Gaviscon claims they give "fast powerful relief".
