Oh my gosh, heartburn is an absolute killer. It's a pain like no other and its a really horrible feeling. I used to get heartburn quite badly when I was pregnant, it would always occur right when I tried to lay down and go to sleep and the acid would just come up my lungs and throat and I would have to sit up and not go to sleep, horrible. I hate having heartburn. It can be incredibly painful and a real problem for me sometimes. My husband possibly suffers from it even more so than I do. I hate taking Milk of Magnesia and much prefer to chew on a tablet or swallow one whole. Gaviscon is great for heartburn but it doesn't taste very nice. The strawberry tablets are much more palatable than the so called mint ones and they are a little bit easier to take because of this. Heartburn and indigestion can be an absolutely horrible feeling when it strikes and usually with me it strikes out of the blue when I am least expecting it but luckily there are loads of remedies available meaning that I don't have to suffer for long.
