Halls Soothers Throat Tablets

I really hate being ill, I always feel so run down, depressed and as if it is the end of the world. Currently having a mild dose of the flu, (thank god its the weekend so I can stay in bed as I never have time off work) not thinking they would help at all I purchased a couple of packets of Hall Soothers to try and help to soothe my throat a little. Soother's have been available for a couple of years but where created under a different name in America in 1990 and I think have replaced or saturated the Locketts marketplace that I always used to have as a kid. This afternoon I've spent 2 hours sitting in my local NHS drop in centre. Past week I've felt a cold coming on but pretty much ignored it and battled through cos it was Christmas and New Year was fast approaching! Anyway I got to see a Dr today and I have a chest infection and I'm a bit run down in general so I have antibiotics and some paracematmol with the usual advise of taking it easy and Drinking loads of fluid but no alcohol! lol On the way home, I thought I won't be out for a few days as I feel so lousy so I'll grab what I need from Sainsburys and I got a couple of packets of these an some other smilar ones. Now from time to time we all at some point suffer with a sore throat and have our own ways of dealing with this from gargling with TCP to sucking on one of the many throat sweets that are on the market. Personally I usually avoid the TCP and go for Soothers. Why Soothers, well I don’t like lockets, simple as that and needed an alternative that was not cherry flavoured as not a big fan of anything cherry flavoured either.
