Maybe I'm just one of the unlucky ones? They did say on the instructions that it doesn't work in all cases, but I was desperate to try it as wifey was getting near to the end of her rope with my snorting and snuffling all night. I do feel for the old bint, but I can't help it.

Anyway, in desperation, one day she brought home Helps Stop Snoring. I nearly choked on my coffee when she told me she had forked out £11.99 for it, but I suppose she was desperate :-) She bought it from boots, but I believe they have a website (www.stopsnoring.co.uk )where it can be ordered.

Helps Stop Snoring is a natural essential oil spray that is supposed, when you spray it on the back of your throat, to alleviate snoring. It apparently does this by tightening the palate so it doesn't vibrate in the night.

The compact spray bottle, which fits in the palm of the hand, is supposed to supply up to 7 weeks worth of doses. You take it last thing at night after drinking and / or brushing teeth by tilting head back and spraying 3 times on the back of the throat. You swallow once and then repeat the procedure.

Unfortunately, according to my wife, the spray didn't work at all! We tried it for a few nights and then just gave up because it isn't the mopst pleasant tasting stuff in the world, last thing at night. It seemed pointless carrying on therefore.

I think they do a gargle too, so maybe I ought to try this instead? On the other hand I would feel doubly bad if that didn't work either. Oh well we'll see.

Somr of the other Dooyooers have had good results I notice though.
