Unlike Indiana Jones in his quest for the Holy Grail, in my continued search for relief for my lower back pain, I cannot swing through the trees nor cling to the underside for a fast moving truck. No, I simply clambered into my beloved Berlingo Multispace (stop laughing - it's practical!) and headed out from the jungle that is Llanbradach (try saying that when you are drunk). Back ache is hereditary in my family, it has travelled through generations on my father's side and much of it is linked to ankylosing spondylitis which is best described as a type of arthritis that affects the spine or backbone. Sometime last year we popped into currys to get a television and on the way out something caught my eye, massage products. I am a beauty therapist and massage is my forte and turned to my husband and said "technology better than manual?, don't think so" as I sat in this chair that had a shiatsu back massager attached to it, I could not believe it! It was superb, it sent shivers all over my body and made me want to do herbal essence noises out loud! lol.
