I have been eyeing up these deluxe massagers since last Christmas. Our local Department Store had one out for testing in the run up to Christmas last year and every lunch hour on working days I stopped into the store and sat my wee butt down on this piece of massaging magic. As is was £159.99 I didn't feel it was worth purchasing but boy did I thoroughly enjoy the two minute rental I was receiving most days. I waited for last years January sales thinking they were bound to reduce them to half price but no they just packed up the tester chair and they weren't seen again until this November. When I saw the little padded seat strapped to the tall leather chair ... Read the complete review

Unlike Indiana Jones in his quest for the Holy Grail, in my continued search for relief for my lower back pain, I cannot swing through the trees nor cling to the underside for a fast moving truck. No, I simply clambered into my beloved Berlingo Multispace (stop laughing - it's practical!) and headed out from the jungle that is Llanbradach (try saying that when you are drunk). If I was a car, I'd fail the MOT and be trading myself in for a newer model. Also having a sit down job and spending far too much time on Dooyoo, I'd be able to pass for an extra with the part ape/human, standing next to the monolith in 2001 - A Space Odyssey. Alas though, I continue ... Read the complete review

Back ache is hereditary in my family, it has travelled through generations on my father's side and much of it is linked to ankylosing spondylitis which is best described as a type of arthritis that affects the spine or backbone. This form of Spondylitis tends to cause back pain and stiffness and in the most severe cases the bones of the spine, known as the vertebrae grow or fuse together resulting in a rigid spine. So to control the pain I visit a chiropractor every 4 months and because there is no cure or medication available for the pain other than the odd painkiller here and there, a hot bath often helps but one of the best ways to cure back ache is to have a massage. ... I've had some quite bad back pain for over twelve months now, with the main symptoms being lower back pain and stiffness. I've tried a few of those hand held massagers and one day when on holiday in Spain I used one of those massage chairs that you pay one Euro into and get a five minute shiatsu massage. It was absolute bliss and seemed to loosen up the muscles in my back considerably so I've been in search of something similar that won't break the bank ever since. Having done some research and read reviews I decided to purchase the Homedics SBM-300 from amazon.co.uk as it was quite cheap at £85.45 plus delivery. Having decided to splash out and ... I now have one of these which I got for Christmas and use it nearly every day. The results have been impressive as it has gradually eased the tension knots accumulated especially in my back and I've been using it on other body parts such as legs or calves (try at own risk as it was only meant for the back). Some tight muscles in the calves and legs have been relieved and a spasm on my right leg has now gone thanks to a bit of pain at the beginning but it has been worth it. On occasion I have laid down on my front and put this device on top of my back then activated it; very relaxing and it feels a bit like getting a massage from someone ... Read the complete review
