Advantages: very relaxing, fits all chairs, great shaistu massage

Disadvantages: shoulder massager is not very great

Do you ever go to one of these shops where they have a massage chair for display and enjoyed sitting on it? Well, I loved it and then finally decided to get one home. Homedics 500H is one among the many massagers that the Homedics do. I bought this and a foot massager.

Homedics 500H costs me around £150 at a wholesale dealer and I bought it 6 months back when its prices were in peak. Now Amazon itself sells it for £155.

It works on the shoulder and back muscles. Both of them are independently controlled which gives you the most control and the fullest massage ever. It is basically designed like a seat pad so quite easy to place on any chair or sofa. But to get its best results, it best used on one of the executive chairs- like the ones in which your main boss sits in his office!!!lol! It has Velcro fasteners to put across the chair's back to hole it in place. I tried using mine on sofa but because I couldn't use the fastener, they would keep slipping down. Then tried it on one of the dining chair and it works fine.

I have noticed that with my height, I find it difficult to use both shoulder and back massage at the same time and I'm 5.5" which isn't too short!!!! I find it that the shoulder massager is at a good height if it would do the neck muscles but unfortunately it is too wide to work on the neck. Might be the 300H which has just the back massager would be better.

If the spot massager is constantly used for more than 3 mins, for safety reasons it automatically shuts down.

The shiatsu massage is very relieving- relaxes all your muscle fatigue.

I do think investing in one of these massagers turns out to be a lot cheaper than going to a spa or masseuse.

Overall I recommend this to anyone who loves to get pampered!
