It took a while but eventually through trial and error I found a type of HRT that a. suited my lifestyle b. I rarely forgot to take c. did what it said on the tin For me, I find it very difficult to remember to take tablets, I was never the shiney happy person in the morning type, and was normally very busy and active throughtout the daytime , and normally fell asleep on the sofa a lot in the evening, so for me HRT in tablet form was never going to be the best form. As anyone who has read my opinions on Hysterectomy and Preparation for Operations will know I had a hysterectomy in the early 1990's. It was the best decision that I ever made, as I eventually felt so much better for having the operation. I had the operation because I was suffering from fibroids and each month my general health was deteriorating more and more, until the specialist whom I was seeing at the hospital decided to offer me a hysterectomy. I was in hospital for a week and then I convalesced at my parents' house where I was well looked after as you can imagine. I recovered well from the operation and my general health improved ...
