I was a passenger in my relative's care about twelve months ago, when we unfortunately were involved in a car accident. At that moment I did not feel pain (as is typical of whiplash) but this had actually reignited a previous injury and the pain since has been unreal at times! I was eventually offered physiotherapy, and during my first session was asked to purchase Ibuleve because I hate taking painkillers (in tablet form anyway) unless I'm in absolute agony, so this gel seemed a suitable alternative with the idea being that you apply it to the affected area rather than taking a tablet which works its way into your body and takes longer to have an ... Since my mid-twenties I have suffered from cervical spondylosis, which is a degenerative disorder of the cervical spine. Much of the time I am free from pain, but when I do get a flare-up I can feel quite ill. I get a lot of stiffness in my neck, pain in my neck and shoulders, stinging headaches, dizziness and a temperature. I have found Ibuleve Gel to be very useful in relieving these distressing symptoms. The active ingredient in Ibuleve is ibuprofen, a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug. Until I discovered Ibuleve, I used to take ibuprofen orally and it helped a lot with the pain. However, I am very cautious when taking any pain-killing tablets and I much ... If you are struggling with aches and pains that won't go away then this has to be the product for you. It can be described as being a bit like the deep heat gels that you can get, except I find it provides a lot more help. I was prescribed this by my doctor last year when I was having problems with my shins caused by running. I was told to apply it three times daily until it was no longer needed. I ended up using it for about three weeks along side some pills I was given. In the end it helped sort out my shin problems and I was able to run again pain free. It comes in a white tube made of metal and has a bright yellow screw cap on it. Written on the ... Read the complete review

We have been using Deep Heat in our household for years but I was advised that it shouldn't really be used as an ongoing product and I was recommended this so we have used this off and on for around a year. I have the odd ache in my back whereas hubby often has a sore back so we have good use for a product like this. This comes in a 50g tube and the last time I bought this which was about 2 months ago it cost me just under £5 from my local Asda. It may sound expensive for the size of this Gel but a little goes a long way and you know what the price can be like for such a product. You can apply this for up to 3 times a day and you just squeeze this ... Read the complete review

Where can I start??? I feel a bit strange writing an op on a pharmaceutical but I think that people should know there is something available to help. I bought this product because I have a dodgy knee that dislocates every now and again and damages the muscles around the kneecap, sort of like a sprain. This causes it to swell up and become quite painful. I was after a product that could reduce the swelling and perhaps take the edge off the pain, maybe make it possible to walk a bit sooner than if I did nothing (usually I am off my feet for a few days). My chemist suggested this product. Ibuleve maximum strength is a slightly hazy, ... Read the complete review
