You can apply this for up to 3 times a day and you just squeeze this Gel out and rub it onto the affected area. The Gel is quite thick but it rubs in easily. It is pretty cool to the touch which can be a shock against your back if it is warm but once this has been rubbed in then this seems to soak in quickly and the area goes from being slightly sticky feeling to just normal. The way that this works is that it ...more

Ibuleve Maximum Strength Gel: I Believe... in IBULEVE! (739 words)

I was a passenger in my relative's care about twelve months ago, when we unfortunately were involved in a car accident. At that moment I did not feel pain (as is typical of whiplash) but this had actually reignited a previous injury and the pain since has been unreal at times! I was eventually offered physiotherapy, and during my first session was asked to purchase Ibuleve because I hate taking painkillers (in tablet form anyway) unless I'm in absolute agony, so this gel seemed a suitable alternative with the idea being that you apply it to the affected area rather than taking a tablet which works its way into your body and takes longer to have an ...  Read the complete review

No Smell Gel (380 words)

Since my mid-twenties I have suffered from cervical spondylosis, which is a degenerative disorder of the cervical spine. Much of the time I am free from pain, but when I do get a flare-up I can feel quite ill. I get a lot of stiffness in my neck, pain in my neck and shoulders, stinging headaches, dizziness and a temperature. I have found Ibuleve Gel to be very useful in relieving these distressing symptoms. The active ingredient in Ibuleve is ibuprofen, a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug. Until I discovered Ibuleve, I used to take ibuprofen orally and it helped a lot with the pain. However, I am very cautious when taking any pain-killing tablets and I much ...  Read the complete review

Ibuleve Maximum Strength Gel: Suffering from aches and pains? (486 words)

If you are struggling with aches and pains that won't go away then this has to be the product for you. It can be described as being a bit like the deep heat gels that you can get, except I find it provides a lot more help. I was prescribed this by my doctor last year when I was having problems with my shins caused by running. I was told to apply it three times daily until it was no longer needed. I ended up using it for about three weeks along side some pills I was given. In the end it helped sort out my shin problems and I was able to run again pain free. It comes in a white tube made of metal and has a bright yellow screw cap on it. Written on the ...  Read the complete review

I-BELIEVE THAT THIS WORKS (350 words)

We have been using Deep Heat in our household for years but I was advised that it shouldn't really be used as an ongoing product and I was recommended this so we have used this off and on for around a year. I have the odd ache in my back whereas hubby often has a sore back so we have good use for a product like this. This comes in a 50g tube and the last time I bought this which was about 2 months ago it cost me just under £5 from my local Asda. It may sound expensive for the size of this Gel but a little goes a long way and you know what the price can be like for such a product. Ibuleve Maximum Strength Gel: Can't stand the pain any longer?? (430 words)

Where can I start??? I feel a bit strange writing an op on a pharmaceutical but I think that people should know there is something available to help. I bought this product because I have a dodgy knee that dislocates every now and again and damages the muscles around the kneecap, sort of like a sprain. This causes it to swell up and become quite painful. I was after a product that could reduce the swelling and perhaps take the edge off the pain, maybe make it possible to walk a bit sooner than if I did nothing (usually I am off my feet for a few days). My chemist suggested this product. Ibuleve maximum strength is a slightly hazy, ...  Read the complete review
