I used to use Isogel Ispaghula Husk around 4-5 years ago. The natural fibre drink is designed to encourage bowel regularity. I don't wish to go into too much detail, but I used it around the same time as I had bowel surgery. The product comes as granules in individual sachets but it can also be bought in a 200g bulk pack. All I had to do is mix the contents of one sachet with the correct amount of fluids and drink it. The product is as useful as a laxative as it is at controlling diarrhoea. A tale of poo and bowels courtesy of one of my poor cats follows as well as the details of a product which helped him and may indeed help you too! On to the important stuff, luckily I don't suffer badly with my bowels, never really falling prey to the discomfort of constipation or diaorrhea (I think I've spelt that wrong?!).
