WHAT ARE THEY?

Individually wrapped menthol sweets for when you have a cough or are suffering with your chest. 

HOW DO THEY TASTE?

They have a harsh menthol taste that hasn't been sweetened very much, they are not hot in your mouth like Fishermans Friends are but they have quite an unpleasant heat that gets more intense the longer you suck them. 

HOW DO YOU USE THEM?

You need to suck them to get the most benefit and as the sweet dissolves it will release the menthol for you to inhale and swallow.  They can be chewed but the effects will not be as good or long lasting. 

ARE THEY ANY GOOD?

They acted quite well when I had a chest infection but don't help to stop you coughing. The sweets are soothing when my throat is sore and I thought they eased the tight feeling I had been experiencing in my chest.  My husband said they were ineffective for him when he was ill but they are only sweets so cannot be expected to work in the same way for everybody. 

When I swallowed while I was sucking a sweet I could feel immediate relief to my throat, I didn't have a very painful throat but it was very tickly and that's how the sweets acted by soothing this tickle.  I was still coughing as much as ever but at least the burning feel whenever I coughed was reduced.
