Advantages: They worked a treat for me.

Disadvantages: Not sure there are any disadvantages.

I am not known for suffering from stress but when I was modelling I used to get myself in a right state sometimes before a big shoot (well as big as they got for me).

I tried all sorts of relaxation theories thrust at me by people trying to do good but nothing worked for me at all and every time a big shoot was round the corner I would get sleepless nights and worried days which did not help me look my best.
Kalms were introduced to me by a friend of my mums and they did a great job or at least seemed to, perhaps it was all the good things I had heard of them from a trusted friend convinced me that I was feeling better when I used them but whatever it was I certainly de-stressed under their influence.

Kalms are tiny little pills made up from plant extracts and various herbs, they have three active ingredients which are, Valerian, Gentian and Hops (please don't ask me for explanations on what they are). I checked out thoroughly that there were no medicated drugs in these before taking them because I just don't do medication, I will lay suffering from pains or illness for days rather than take pills, so I can vouch for these being strictly herbal.

Almost anyone can take these they are even suitable for vegetarians and lactose intolerants but not for vegans. The other people that have to steer clear of these pills are diabetics or pregnant or breastfeeding women.

They can be found in most chemists and are also available from Asda, Tesco and probably many other supermarkets. In Asda you can get a box of 100 pills for £3.29 which is slightly cheaper than most chemists.

I would certainly recommend these to anyone undergoing a particularly stressful time but I would not recommend anyone become reliant on them. If you are stressed in general rather than just going through a tough time then I would suggest seeking medical advice rather than taking these but if you know it is one certain thing stressing you out and it will pass then these will help see you through it.

My modelling days are behind me now and I no longer feel stressed so I am no longer taking Kalms but I thank god I had them when I did and if something else causes me to feel stressed in years to come I would certainly go back to them!

Read the instructions on how to take and use responsibly!

Summary: Keep calm with Kalms!
