Advantages: Worked for me

Disadvantages: None

Kalms are a herbal remedy made from plants, which claims to calm nerves and anxiety and help you deal with stress. They come in tablet form and cost about three pounds from Boots, supermarkets and so on. I still have some left.

They should be fine for anyone aged over 12 apart from pregnant and breasfeeding women, but of course, check if you are concerned.

They taste OK, just swish them down with some water, you are meant to take two tablets, three times a day. I mostly did that. I am not a particularly nervy person usually, but I suffered awful nerves before my first driving test (to the point of crying) and as I failed, I thought I'd try Kalms before my second one! I took them for a couple of weeks beforehand and whether they actually work or act like a placebo does, I don't know, but I did feel much calmer and I passed my test, so yay for Kalms! I would take them at least a week or two before any major nervy 'event'.

I haven't taken them since as I haven't needed to but I would take them again - my current house renovation might yet lead me back to them! All in all, they worked for me, so I would say give them a whirl!

Summary: Kalms really worked for me
