Advantages: good quality, compact

Disadvantages: -

One thing that every person should carry on them or that every woman should have in their handbag, are these Kleenex Balsam Pocket tissues. These are an essential, as you never know when you might need a tissue, may it be spilling food over, a sneeze, you name it they are a must. This is why I always buy these as they are in my opinion the best quality brand and are also in nice packaging that you can spot them in your handbag. Kleenex are a reliable brand and Balsam tissues are much softer on my nose so I can't go wrong.

PACKAGING

The Kleenex Balsam pocket tissues firstly come in a pack of six if you buy the multipack which has a cellophane wrapper and lists all of the ingredients, etc. Then each individual pack is rectangular in shape and has the Kleenex logo with a yellow through to blue colour fade on it. The wrapper states that they include balsam and on the side are details about the tissues. They have a resealable sticky label which is good to protect them.

BALSAM POCKET TISSUES

The tissues all have a protective balm containing calendula and each tissue is a white square neatly folded up and very soft to touch. The tissues are in no way scented and are made up of 4 fine layers of paper which is why they feel quite thick. Each individual tissue has a faint pattern on it but nothing that will make the paper rough as these feel very nice on skin. The tissues absorb really well which is another reason why I like them and coming in a pack of 9 is just enough to last you depending on if you have a cold or not.

Kleenex Balsam tissues do not rip easily which is another good side to them but the downside is they are definitely not the cheapest pocket tissues out there but they are effective and will make your skin soft and not cause it to get red if you are blowing your nose regularly. In comparison to other brands that I have used, these are kept sealed and the sticky bit does always stick back down protecting the tissues from dust and whatever else in handbags.

I also find that these tissues last longer than others and even if blowing your nose, you can folder the tissue over a few times. The tissues are 6 x 9 or 21cm x 21cm which is pretty average really and the ingredients included in these are: Paraffinum Liquidum, Ceresin, Stearyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Palmitate, Dimethicone, Calendula Officinalis, Ceteareth-20, Tocopherol (vitamin E). Whenever I have come down with flu, these have been by my side as the balsam helps my skin and they make me feel a lot better.

I thoroughly recommend Kleenex Balsam pocket tissues. You can buy them on their own or in a bigger pack and they are good value for money. Mine last me quite a while and I am always thankful when I have a cold to have these in my bag as I know my nose will appreciate the kind tissue on my skin rather than some rough paper alternative that is cheaper and or poorer quality. These are available to buy in most stores and are worth the extra cost.

COST

To buy these individually, Tesco are selling a single pack for 55p which isn't bad if you only want the one packet. However, if you do want more then the bigger pack is £1.00 at Asda at the minute on rollback from £1.29 which is much better value for money when you think that one pack is almost more than half of that. Making each packet under 20p which is a bargain.
