When I have a cold, I’m miserable. Well, that only means I’m just like everyone else. But remember, I live in Israel and it often happens that in addition to my having a cold, we have a heat-wave. Believe me, there is absolutely nothing worse than a “summer cold”. On the one hand, you try to get out of the heat by finding someplace cool, but then you feel worse. And there’s nothing more disturbing than not being able to cuddle under a lovely warm duvet when you’re not feeling up to snuff, as it were! So what do I do to make myself feel better when I have a cold? Several things, actually. One of them is to use a really good tissue for my nose. You see, ... Read the complete review

I hate colds! I have a cold now :'( For nearly a week I have been suffering from runny eyes, sore throat, sneezing and a continuously running nose. How lovely! I am not really prone to colds, but when I get them, I get them bad! I am however, very prone to allergies to the many animals that my mother will insist on keeping (one of those being my cat, I have to tell you that or she will leave a nasty comment!). The moment I get scratched or get a bit of fluff left on me, all the symptoms of a cold come to me. I never learn, I always carry a toilet roll around with me. And then you know what happens, because it happens to everyone- the red crusty ... Read the complete review

I have loads of problems with the skin around my nose, it is very susceptible to 'going scabby' whenever I get a cold and when it's subjected to extreme weather - sun and wind! For going outside I just put some Vaseline on it and in the sun obviously sun cream, however when I get a cold it's very hard to stop it going funny! I find normal tissues are very hard on the skin especially when it's already sore and they make my nose worse. At the first signs of a cold now I start using ultrabalm tissues (they're too expensive to use all the time!) and have noticed a real difference. They are a lot nicer to use and are not ... My daughter suffers from Hayfever and always has a packet of tissues in her bag during the summer months, when I mentioned how a recent very minor cold had left me with a sore nose she handed me a packet of Kleenex Balsam and sung their praises so loudly (and for so long) that the next sneezing fit I had I reached for them instead of my usual 'whatever is on offer' packet. This was around six weeks ago and I can honestly say I'd never buy another brand of tissue again. Kleenex claim that these tissues will help to prevent a sore and red nose thanks to the added Calendula balm, they can also help to soothe your nose if it's already sore as the balm will leave ... Kleenex Balsam Tissues - Look forward to sneezing, I know I did Introduction ---------------- Since last week I have been cursed with a horrible cold (is there such a thing as a good one) which started last Saturday on my 18th Birthday, mild flu symptoms were present as well, you know the classics; migraine, fever, sweating, light headed, dizziness now and then etc.. Anyway on top of this I was coughing a lot and sneezing (Achoo) and I needed tissues constantly, thankfully my Mum came in from shopping at Asda with a box of Kleenex tissues for me, I was finally looking forward to a good sneeze. The Tissues ... Read the complete review
