I hate having the cold, but unfortunately it has come to visit me early this year. Usually the bad bout of the cold hits me in the new year, but i've had the bad cold/cough/flu feeling that most of the nation seems to have since last thursday. With the cold comes the need to blow your nose and I try to have a box of these tissues in the house for such reason.

What's the difference with Kleenex Balsam Tissues compared to other brands? Well instead of being normal tissues, these have a protective Balm on them that will help your nose. I tend to get a red scratchy part at my nose with constant blowing and rubbing, and with these tissues they tend to cut down on the redness, as they aren't as rough and dry as standard tissues.

You can buy these in full sized tissue boxes, which I think have 80 tissues in them and can costs about £1.50, a double pack of 2x 80 tissue boxes, which cost about £2.80 and a handy pack multipack, which has 6x pocket pack tissue packs, which have 12 tissues in each pack and these can cost around £1.30, but I got a pack in Tesco yesterday for £1. It's good that you can get these in a few different ways as I use the main box in the house and the handy pack is good to have on the go for helping with sniffles.

Most supermarkets have their own version of these and they are a bit cheaper, but I don't think they are as soft. I think they work well and although they are most expensive than other tissues then I like not having a sore red nose to add to my ailments.

Packaging is alright, just standard tissue box and pack with green and blue colourings. Nothing that eye catching, but I guess they stand out a bit again the other neutral packaging.
