Kleenex tissues go way back to the 1920,s and they were first advertised as being useful for removing cold cream. I am sure that I am not the only one who often whips one out of the box to help remove my foundation cream.

Kleenex lotion tissues for added softness, Everyday tissues with the extra absorbency powers, the Anti Viral tissue that help to kill the germs of colds and flu, Kleenex expressions, a facial tissue, Kleenex ultra soft for when a cold or flu has made your skin sore, Kleenex tissues with menthol for when you have a cold, Kleenex extra large ( for big noses?), Kleenex naturals made from recycled fibres and Kleenex holiday which are packed in themed fun style boxes.



A cotton handkerchief was always seen as a `must have` for your handbag or pocket. I still have plenty of cotton hankies but Tissues are such a boon! Large white cotton handkerchiefs have to be washed, which isn't the best of tasks, now and again you need to boil them too and then you have to iron them. So in comparison to a tissue they are labour intensive.
Up until a few years ago I always thought of tissues as an extravagance, now I wouldn't be without them.
I could go to the Pound shop or the Discount store and probably buy two boxes for £1. The reason I don't? Because they don't have the same levels of absorbency as a mansize Kleenex and the majority of them aren't half as soft either.



Kleenex Mansize tissues have recently undergone a revamp, the box has been redesigned. I personally don't think that they have changed the design drastically.
A large rectangular box in a grey, white and black design that could be considered a `retro` look. To the right hand corner of the box Kleenex have added a red flash, inside of this red flash they have printed the words `New Look`. Directly under those words they tell you that they are the same man sized tissues.
In the centre of the box is an ovate serrated section which detaches easily from the box to let you lift the tissues out.
Kleenex have interlinked the tissues, so as you pull one from the box another tissue makes itself readily available.



Kleenex mansize are exactly that, a brilliant white soft large tissue that is highly absorbent.
The tissues fit easily into any pocket or handbag and I often have a few in my bag as they always come in handy.
The tissues are fully recyclable and above all they are exceptionally strong. There is nothing worse than finding out your tissue isn't man enough for the job. Of course if you are out and about the tissues become multi-functional, a face wipe, an emergency napkin, a mop up for a child's grazed knee! you name it they will do the job.



I appreciate that 100 sheets cost about £2.15, so they do tend to cost far more than some brands but one tissue will last the day out, no constant running back and forth to the tissue box for another.
