... especially the Balsam or Extra Soft varieties sell for up to £3 a box (ie Sainsburies express stores). *Product* The box I bought was a standard sized box containing 70 3-ply tissues. The cardboard box is easy to open and there is a flexible plastic insert in the box- i'm not sure why this is there- it is between the tissues and the cardboard. You have to poke your hand through it to get to the first tissue - then all the others will come out in sequence once you start using the tissues. The tissues do not have any pa...more

Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues: For Softies and Those Who Don't Mind Snot (358 words)

There are some products that I won't compromise on in my weekly shopping basket and one such product is facial tissues. There's nothing worse than having to blow your nose only to find that the tissue you have is all scratchy or disintegrates on first use. My brand of choice for many years, therefore, has been Kleenex as I have found their products to be reliable. Always soft I was intrigued when I first saw the new ultra soft tissues being advertised. How could Kleenex make their tissues any softer? What I hadn't appreciated was that Kleenex had seen fit to impregnate their tissues with a lotion in the same way as they had done with their Balsam tissues. ...  Read the complete review

So yes I have the dreaded cold, just in time for my week off where I had lots planned including writing an essay and going to see the new Harry Potter film! I rarely get colds but when I do get them they tend to be the worst ones! I was using toilet tissue to blow my nose on initially, hoping that the cold would soon disappear and I could go back to normal life. However my lovely mum insisted that I use tissues instead as otherwise my nose would get sore ! These tissues are something that we often have in our house. We got a trial pack last Christmas when we were out shopping and we were amazed at how soft they are so we often get them now ...  Read the complete review

Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues: Super Soft and Silky (522 words)

Like alot of other Dooyooers I've come down with the cold from hell, running nose, hacking cough, sore throat I can hardly stand to breathe past and just want it to go! While I can't wish it away I can take certain measures to ensure it does as little damage as possible and one of those measures is to use very soft tissues on my nose. Until recently I'd been using Classic Velvet tissues and was very happy with them but I'm finding it hard to track them down in the shops so on my last visit to Morrison's I plumped for a 2 pack of Kleenex Ultra Soft. The 2 boxes each contain 80 tissues and cost me £3 as they were on offer, normally 1 box costs about £1.99. Although ...  Read the complete review

==Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues== I was in Poundland the other day when I spotted a box of these Kleenex ultra Soft Tissues. I couldn't help but pick up a box as I know the usually retail for a little bit over £1 and new our tissues supplies were running short. The box of tissues is not bad to look at as it is a brown and beige type swirly pattern which is perfectly fitting for our front room. The box is not excessively large and doesn't take up too much sideboard space and the tissues themselves are of a good quality as they are from Kleenex. So for my pound I got a box which has 80 separate tissue inside and each of these tissues ...  Read the complete review

Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues: DONT PAY THROUGH THE NOSE FOR ANY OTHER TISSUE!! (575 words)

I went to Bristol shopping a few weeks ago. Whilst walking around me and my friends were handed small packets of kleenex ultra soft tissues by some marketing workers. At first, I wasn't particularly intrested and placed them in my bag. But afterwards I had a bit of a hot flush and so reached into my bag for something to mop my brow. When I opened this packet, I was first struck by the softness of the tissues. They are 3 ply but more than than that they feel quilted. They are so soft it seems a shame to wipe your nose in them!! They also have a beautiful silky texture which further adds to the luxury feel of these tissues. The silkiness is due to the added ...  Read the complete review
