There are some products that I won't compromise on in my weekly shopping basket and one such product is facial tissues. There's nothing worse than having to blow your nose only to find that the tissue you have is all scratchy or disintegrates on first use. My brand of choice for many years, therefore, has been Kleenex as I have found their products to be reliable. Always soft I was intrigued when I first saw the new ultra soft tissues being advertised. How could Kleenex make their tissues any softer? What I hadn't appreciated was that Kleenex had seen fit to impregnate their tissues with a lotion in the same way as they had done with their Balsam tissues. ... Read the complete review

After seeing the advert for these tissues on TV my daughter came back a box of Kleenex Ultra soft tissues from the supermarket. We normally get the supermarkets own brand so I was surprised she had splashed out on these. She had seen the new advert and said she liked the look of the box! The tissues are packaged in a very nice box. It is natural coloured box with opening being a rich brown colour. There is a picture on the front of a child kissing a woman. The box has a nice large opening which makes the tissues very quick and easy to dispense. This is very important when your sneezing everywhere as my daughter does without warning! The box of tissues contains ... Read the complete review

I seem to have a mild cold yet again, and a week or so ago when I was walking into town, I started to get a runny nose, but had no tissues with me. I nipped into a smallish Boots store on the way, to pick up a pocket pack of tissues, and although with tissues I usually just buy the cheapest, the only ones they had available in a pocket size were the Kleenex Ultra Soft. These tissues are available in either pocket sized pack containing 9 tissues, or a box containing 55 tissues, and are also available in Man-size. One good thing about the packaging, is that there are lots of different designs available. Personally, I don't care what a box of tissues ... Read the complete review

There are many products on the 'weekly shopping list' where you can save money by purchasing a lesser known or 'stores own' brand, & still get a high quality product. However, I would say this rule definately does not apply to boxes of tissues. I think I've tried just about every facial tissue product available over the years, & I've found that virtually all of them are rough & coarse. I've gradually learnt to take the expression 'softest ever' (often printed on tissue boxes) with a pinch of salt ! The only tissue product I now buy is Kleenex Ultra Soft. It seems to be the softest tissue you can buy in the UK. If ... Read the complete review

This is one of the best products in the world when you have a cold or a runny nose! I would not be without these tissues..... they are the only tissues I have ever found that do not cause me to look like Rudolph after the second day of a cold*g*. There uniqueness lies in the fact that they are impregnated with lotion which prevents or allieviates the usual drying out of the skin around your nostrils. So no more sore nose.....no more red nose..... no more flaking skin after a cold either.... what more could a girl ask??? One of the most wonderful aspects of these tissues is that it doesn't hurt when you blow your nose either ... Read the complete review
