Migraine kool 'n' soothe is one product I pick up now and again, or infact keep a pack in the house just in case. Sometimes I am prone to migraines and sometimes I just use this product to help me to sleep at night if I'm tensed up in bed and unable to relax, which is normally when I'm stressed out over an upcoming event I feel is beyond my control.

The Migraine kool 'n' soothe comes with 4 sheets, 2 in each sachet. The box appears as blue colour coordinated design, I guess to indicate the coolness. It has a woman using the gel sheet on her forehead. Wow it fits her forehead perfectly, mine I feel covers part of my eyebrows cause I have small forehead. So its best I dont even attempt to open or leave eyes open when wearing it as the strong cooling sensation seems to seep out along with that chewing gum peppermint smell. Suppose I could cut it to size but it seems so gooey and hardly worth the effort in cutting a few millimetre off with difficulty.

The sachets are foil like and as soon as you take one out you can reseal it by folding twice, to enable the remaining sheet to stay fresh. The sheet appears as blue gel on a cotton wool like feeling fabric with a transparent film. You remove the film and place it where needed, apparently you can use it for headache, high temperature, hot flushes, sprains or to relax. It indicates on the box that each sheet provides up to 8 hours relief. I have used this at night and on waking up in the morning it still feels cool but ready to start peel off as the stickyness wears off. It is so relaxing I sleep so well, pain disappears with it on and feel so much better after.

They are excellent in providing immediate relief when needed, much better than waiting for painkillers to kick in, as it can feel like such a long time when you head is pounding. The price can range from £2.50 to £3.00. I dont suffer migraines so often now so I dont mind forking out for it now and again but if I needed something on a regular basis I would probably use a cheap alternative like maybe a heat lotion. Overall a good product that lives up to it's name.
