Advantages: Relieve headaches and some cold symptoms

Disadvantages: Not the best tasting (could be more lemony!)

Having recently been struck by freshers' flu, I invested in some Lemsip to try and recover and be able to get back into the swing of things.

These sachets make a great tasting drink (especially when sweetened with honey) which I'd be tempted to drink as a standard hot drink if they didn't contain paracetamol of course! They relieve temporary cold symptoms such as a blocked nose and a heavy head but I wouldn't recommend these drinks if you're hoping for any cure that lasts more than a few hours.

These drinks are great before bed, when you're all tucked up with a hot water bottle and I've found that they really do help me to sleep when I'm ill.

I think it would be great if the drinks were a little stronger in flavour and a little bit stronger in the way of containing decongestants but overall, I think they are a great help for the common cold and light flu symptoms.
