Advantages: Small, Easy to use

Disadvantages: Doesn't work for everyone, Can make you sneeze

I have suffered with hay fever from an early age - and I do get it quite bad (worse than some). I tend to get it early on, and then again later in the season. I feel it's the tree pollen that really gets me going!

Anyway, I don't take any tablets - don't like the idea of taking antihistamines (for reasons I won't go into here).

So, I got the Allergy Reliever when it was on offer for £14.99 - for that price it's worth a shot to end the suffering!

It looks like an old MP3 player, really small - fits in your pocket ~ with two red lights you stick-up you nose. I read somewhere the red light stimulates something - making you less sensetive to pollen (or whatever you're allergic to). To be used 3-4 times a day.

The lights shine for a minute or so - enabling you to look like Rudolf and amuse the kids for a while. Doesn't hurt, but can set you off on a sneezing fit as soon as you insert it! When it's finished, it beeps to let you know you can take it out.

Did it work? No. Not for me.

Again, I do suffer pretty bad with hay fever - so I'm guessing this is why. However it has worked well for relatives of mine who swear by it! ...so I don't doubt it does work for some people. Unfortunately for me, I'm not one of them.

Summary: Works for some people, but not others - worth giving it a try!

It is worth a try for £15 :-) ...if it works, imagine how much you'd save on tablets!

I have always wondered what these were like, as the adverts make them sound really good. Obviously they are hit and miss for certain people, think I will stick with the good old tablets. :O)
