Marvellous marjoram I have masses of Marjoram in my garden Wild Marjoram, Oregano, Origanum vulgare it seeds its self everywhere. There are lots of species of Origanum, Sweet marjoram, Pot marjoram, and Oregano t There are others too I am going to tell you about Wild marjoram Oregano and originates from the Mediterranean region I have been to Crete and Greece and seen it growing in abundance along donkey tracks. Not advisable to use this during pregnancy, (there are quite a few that you shouldn’t use around pregnancy and whenever you buy an oil, make sure you read the do’s and don’ts before you buy!) Marjoram is a mixture of smells, a cross between camphor and thyme. This one is used for headaches, insomnia, tension, bruises, bronchitis and the general aches & sprains. I must admit, it didn’t really work for my headache, maybe I wasn’t using it correctly!
