Migraleve is a medicine, which can be obtained from your doctor or over the counter, for the relief from migraine headaches and associated nausea and vomiting. These tablets should NOT be taken unless your migraines have been diagnosed by a doctor. As always, there's a quick overview incase you just want the bare details. ---------- --------------- --------------------- -------------- ------------ ----------- ~ Quick overview ~ Migraleve comes in pink and yellow tablets. The pink tablets should be taken at the first sign of a migraine. They contain paracetamol, codeine, and buclizine. If you take them as soon as ... Read the complete review

I've always suffered with the occasional headache, but in the last couple of years, these have developed into more severe migraine attacks. Recently, I have been suffering from a severe headache once every other month or so. The pain is so severe it really does cut like a knife and any movement at all is best avoided. On occasion, the symptoms have worsened into actual vomiting. This is not pleasant at the best of times, but made ten times worse when you have a head that just won't stop throbbing and the action of leaning over a bowl (or toilet), sends daggers through your skull. Normal pain killers just don't even touch the sides and it is impossible to function ... Read the complete review

Anyone that does not have migraine attacks would never know exactly how bad it really is. I only started getting them 3 years ago and the first attack I had convinced me that I was dying, I really thought I had meningitis or a brain tumor! The worst thing with migraines is that they can sometimes last up to 48 hours and If like me you have a job, it can be very difficult and not all employers are sympathetic to you phoning in sick all the time with a migraine. I expect these people don't actually suffer from them and think it's an excuse for a headache. Not only work is affected, you can guarantee that you always get one when you ... I've had migraines since I turned about 20 so I've been getting them for about 15 years now. I usually get one every couple of months and 2 days before the migraine hits find I'm exhausted, which ought to tell me a migraine is on the way but I never seem to realise until the pain and nausea start then I realise that's why I've been so tired. The cause of migraines still isn't completely clear, some say it's a nerve problem, some say hormonal as women are more prone to them, others a chemical change in the brain and then there's the red wine, chocolate, caffeine and cheese angle and finally hereditary. I must admit several other family members do get ... Read the complete review

I have suffered from migraines ever since being a little girl at primary school complaining of a headache that starts with what I scientifically called "a tingle", and later developed into the mother of all headaches, sensitivity to light and the overwhelmig urge to curl up and die. Other painkillers such as paracetamol didn't even take the edge off the pain, and instead turned my feeling of nausea into full-on vomiting...not great when its play time at school! After being frog-marched down to the GP by mother, I was diagnosed with migraines and prescribed Migraleve. I still suffer from migraines now and its the only thing that will work for ...
