OK, but slow effect for me. (Migraleve)

Advantages: Did the job in the end?

Disadvantages: Slow, if they were the cure at all

I have been getting migraine since I was 7. This has become a huge impact on my life, never being able to know if I can commit to things on set dates and times.

I have always used Nurofen's headache and migraine tablets, and they have worked fairly well. My mum saw Migraleve in a shop and decided to buy them to see how well they worked. When I had my next migraine, I took these as soon as I was aware and went to sleep.

It took about 4 hours for my migraine to finally go. It's hard to tell whether these were actually the cause of the cure, as the effect was 4 hours later.

My experience has been that these either took a long time to work, or weren't the cure to my migraine. They have had the same effect on later occasions when I had migraine.

I find that I am sticking with the stronger Nurofen tablets for migraine. They do the job, and alot quicker in my opinion.

However, everybody is different and people get different migraines - So if you suffer very often then I would reccommend trying these out because they may work better for others!

Summary: If you suffer from migraine, try them out - they make work well for you!
