Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't (Migraleve)

Advantages: Dulls the pain even if it does not always stop it, Funky pink colour

Disadvantages: Very expensive, doesn't always help, hard to tell which tablets to take sometimes.

I have had migraine attacks for about 6 years now. I never really found anything that worked fast enough, only using paracetamol when I felt I couldn't handle the pain much longer.

I first used the Pink migraleve tablets, and they helped only as long as you took two at the very first signs of a migraine. The only problem is that it is hard to tell whether the pain you feel in your skull is one that will turn into a migraine, so you don't know whether it is worth taking a tablet. The fact that they are so very expensive means that you don't want to waste them.
The tablets do reduce nausea slightly, but if you're feeling sick, the last thing you want to do is take tablet - you just want to have a glass of milk and hide in a dark corner (milk helps btw - well it helps me!).

The yellow tablets also help quite a lot, and I would recommend these over the yellow ones, but again they are expensive and so you are more likley to want to target the pain at first sign with the pink ones.
The multi pack are not very worth while a purchase. You get about four yellow tablets and eight pinks ones, so it's not very helpful if you need more of the yellow ones!

With such a complecated ailment as migraine is, it is hard to work out when it is best to take a tablet like this, or whether a paracetamol is the best thing to take instead. Well, as someone who suffers very often from migraine, I never leave the house without a pack of pink migraleve because you never know. They are hard hitting, and even if they don't always eliminate the pain, it dulls it - and with migraine, anything is a plus.
