Many people have heard of an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and more likely have seen it in a medical drama such as House. How many people actually understand what it does though? I'm guessing not many. Until I needed one a few years ago I had never really thought about it. Then when I found out I had to have one to help diagnose dizziness I panicked a little and started to research it. Last summer I became very ill and was diagnosed as suffering from a condition called cluster headaches. I was in extreme pain - in fact, I could have cheerfully cut off my head!
