However I have recently experienced excruciating pains in the upper parts of both my arms, worse in the arm nearer the window. Doubtless this has been caused by the fresh air i.e. draught. Deep Heat Fast Relief Rub ... joints seem to be a recurrent problem as the age clock ticks on. I have heard tell it is nature s way of preparing you for rigor mortis- what a comforting thought. When I am busy I can tolerate the aching- there is plenty to take my mind of it- but at night it drives me nuts- I cannot settle and it is very frustrating. I had tried painkillers, but I am not keen on becoming reliant on them. So I went off to Boots and invested just over £2 for a 35g tube of Deep Heat. Mentholatum Deep Heat Spray ... ve pulled a muscle at the top of my thigh and I did it in such a mad way that I can t believe I ve actually injured myself as well as looking like a complete plum when I did it! It happened as I was getting out of the shower last night, I d used the downstairs bathroom where the shower is above the bath and as I got out my foot that was still in the bath slipped so I ended up carrying all my weight on the other foot that wasn t even hardly touching the floor yet. I felt something twinge when I did it but it wasn t until this morning that I woke up with a very painful leg and the doctor couldn t fit me in until Thursday.
