Arnica Montana (Asteraceae/Compositae)

Nelsons’ ClikPak of Arnica Montana homeopathic remedy is available in either 6c or 30c dosages – the c indicates the potency of the pillules. It is advisable to buy the 6c version as this is a more than adequate dosage for most treatments.

Nelsons’ ClikPaks are green in colour, plastic vials that have a screw top lid at one end and a “clicker” at the other end. The idea is to dispense the recommended dosage into the unopened cap, then unscrew the cap and tip the pillules straight into a clean mouth.

The advised dosage for Arnica Montana is two pillules every hour for six doses, then two pillules three times a day until better. In less urgent cases, take two pillules, three times a day. Children should only take half the adult does. This remedy can also be given to animals.

The pillules must be sucked or chewed but not swallowed whole and is highly recommended as a first aid remedy for physical and emotional shock and injuries as it promotes healing of damaged tissues and helps control bleeding.

I frequently use this homeopathic remedy and always keep a vial in my handbag for emergencies.

Nelsons homeopathic remedies are inexpensive but every effective - each vial contains around 85 pillules. If you could have just one remedy, I would recommend that it be Arnica.
