Advantages: Helps keep the bruising down on active children
Disadvantages: None
Anyone that has little ones will know that they tend to get bruises very easily. As they run about they tend to bang into things and hit their shins on things climbing onto them.
I was getting fed up of seeing bruises all over my little girl's legs when they fall over so I decided to try Nelsons Arnica cream for bruises. I was not convinced that this cream would help keep the bruises down but I was amazed when using this cream. It really does work. One of my daughters fell over outside and really banged her head on the decking and I used this cream for the first time on the bump (which had come up within seconds). What do you know there was hardly any bruising showing at all over the next few days. I was expecting a massive bruise that stood out so much but no this cream really helped.
We call this cream magic cream (which I know a lot of parents say for all sorts of creams) but this really is magic cream.
This cream is prepared from the alpine plant Arnica montana. It is a topical herbal remedy, traditionally that is used for the treatment of bruises.
Incase your child is allergic to some items in medicines here is a list of what the ingredients are:
Purified water, glyceryl monostearate & macrogol stearate, apricot kernel oil, theobroma oil, glycerol, polawax GP 200 (cetearyl alcohol, PEG-20 stearate), cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, glyceryl monocaprylate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate.
I bought this from a large Boots store as I tried a few smaller stores and they did not have it. I found it in the Complementary Therapies under Flower Remedies. It cost me £5.95 in Boots but I know that many other stores do stock the item such as Superdrug, Holland and Barrett, Sainsbury's some pharmacies and health food shops nationwide.
Summary: It is well worth the money it cost as it really does work
