I have used tissue salts since 1968 ,when I had a bad bout of Catarrh .
These remedies were first devised by Dr Whilhelm H Schuessler of Oldenberg,Germany,and then by many Homeopaths ,He like another famous Homeopath Hahnemann,beleived that some ills are caused by deficienciesof inorganic substances needed by the human body.
This is specially true today with refining of foods ,and pollution ,which depletes the body of these elements.
The Catarrh remedy prepared by the firm New Era ,called Combination Q ,s made up of Ferr Phos which acts like an anti inflamatory ,Kali Mur,Potassium Chloride ,helps glandular swelling,and thick white Catarrh,and is good for the liver ,this is combined with,Kali Sulph and Nat Mur ,they all have a complementary action ,to help balnce the body ,and so rid it of that uncomfortable condition,a stuffy nose ,and blocked sinuses.
There are no side effects ,but one word of caution ,dont take longer than your symptoms last.
As like all Homeopathic remedies ,if you take to long your symptoms can return with a vengeance if you overtake.There is a recomendation for dosage on the plastic tub they are sold in .
Dont drink coffee while you are taking them ,because coffee is an antidote to Homeopathic remedies.Take recomended dose and repat one dose for about 3 days or til symptoms have disappeared ,it works .Remember to drink plenty of water and have some Vitamin C too.
