Although I have really enjoyed the summer we had (past tense I have a feeling its now gone!) I really suffered with hayfever. I had all the usual symptoms really of weeping eyes, sneezing, sore throat and a general grogginess but also suffered with headaches and a skin rash and my nose started to kill me! It was awful and at the beginning of the sunshine I felt trapped indoors with closed windows and doors and quite frantic about that! Now me, I have no real problems in taking prescribed and over the counter drugs however due to other health problems that I suffer with I'm on a lot of medication already and so when possible I do like to search out alternative ... Calling all hay fever sufferers! A slight pause here while I extricate myself from the crush. There's a lot of it about, isn't there? My particular bug-bear is oilseed rape: if I drive past a bright yellow field the first thing I notice is that lovely, fresh, floral smell, and the second thing is the onset of sneezing and itching eyes, with wheezing an optional extra. This year the stuff is already in full flower and itís only the beginning of April. Thatís global warming for you. I should put my hay fever in perspective here and say I don't suffer badly. Aaaaaachhhhhoooooooooo! Aaaachoooo! Aaaachooo! Aaaachooooooooo! Yes, I suffer from hay fever. As soon as the sun begins to shine, the birds start to sing and the flowers pop up, I turn into a dribbling nosed, watering eyed, sneezing wreck. Over the years I've tried quite a few different remedies for my hay fever. Eye drops, nose sprays, once a day tablets, three times a day tablets. I've had them all. So have I found a cure?
