Calling all hay fever sufferers! A slight pause here while I extricate myself from the crush. There's a lot of it about, isn't there? My particular bug-bear is oilseed rape: if I drive past a bright yellow field the first thing I notice is that lovely, fresh, floral smell, and the second thing is the onset of sneezing and itching eyes, with wheezing an optional extra. As soon as the sun begins to shine, the birds start to sing and the flowers pop up, I turn into a dribbling nosed, watering eyed, sneezing wreck. Over the years I've tried quite a few different remedies for my hay fever. Eye drops, nose sprays, once a day tablets, three times a day tablets. I've had them all. So have I found a cure?
