For security the end of the tube is sealed and you need to reverse the lid and poke a hole in the seal first. I did this, then rubbed it into my knee. It is not strong-smelling, just a slight whiff of something neutral and slighty anstringent smelling. The gel is clear, so it does not stain clothing. I spent a good few minutes massaging it in, and it took about 5 minutes to dry. Once dry, it is not sti...more

Premium Review Nurofen Muscular pain relief gel - 35g: Nurofen Gel is a bit wishy washy (425 words)

As some of you may know, starting or upping an exercise regime can actually make you feel worse sometimes: I have recently started long-distance walking plus going to the gym, in a bid to lose weight, but the downside is that now I have hurt my knee! Needing something to soothe it, I have been and bought some Nurofen Ibuprofen Gel . It was around £3.19 and I got it from my local Boots, although it is widely available at all supermarkets and chemists. Easily identifiable in a silver box, inside is a matching silver tube with tells you that it contains 5% ibuprofen. Rating:

In recent months, I have been experiencing quite a lot of pain in my neck. I am not talking about a small twinge here and there, but quite severe muscular pain, which lasts for hours on end. Now it doesn't really help having a long neck either because every slightest movement exacerbates the pain. It all started a few months ago when I suddenly felt my neck seize up at work. I could barely move - it was that painful! The second occasion was the other day, travelling home on the bus. I was sat awkwardly and had to twist to look out of the window. I could feel my neck becoming more and more tense, and by the time I got home, I was in agony. Previously, I would ...  Read the complete review
