Firstly, Nurofen Plus are not particularly cheap as far as pain killers go. They are, however, worth the extra few pounds.

I have a long lasting problem with my hamstrings which causes the backs of my legs to tense up and become seriously painful after long walks or standing on my feet for long periods of times. I have tried a whole host of different pain relief methods to reduce this pain so that it does not effect my day to day to life. None of them really seemed to make much difference.
A few months ago I explained to my local pharmacist my problem and she suggested Nurofen plus. I'd tried just regular Nurofen before with no real results so I was little pessimistic about trying these out. I gave them ago regardless. I've never looked back.

These pain killers took me from unbearable pain when I tried to walk to walking perfectly fine and pain free in about 30 minutes.
About a week ago I found myself coming down a severe headache, I took one of these and once again, with half an hour felt perfectly fine.

My only problem with these is that you're advised to take them for longer than four days in a row meaning they are not ideal for on going problems.
