I'm quite prone to getting headaches and so I am normally always stocked up with painkillers, and if I am honest it's usually the cheap supermarket brand makes. However on one trip to the supermarket to get some painkillers they didn't have any of there cheaper makes but as I was desperate I decided to buy Nurofen Express because I had heard of the brand and trusted it and also the word express bought me hope that my headache would soon be gone! However the price of around £6 for the 20 tablets started a whole new headache of it's own!

The packet is cardboard and mainly silver and looks quite modern, It has nurofen written in large red writing at the top so there is no mistaking the tablets you have! Then there is there logo the target so you know that Nurofen targets where your pain is, or at least I hoped it would!

Inside the tablets come in blister packs these are nice and easy to pop the tablets out. Its also useful as from the ripped foil on the back you know how many you have taken and if you need to buy any more. The tablets are round and are sugar coated I was quite surprised about this as I thought that they would have been the chalky type tablet. I took two tablets for my headache and took them with a drink of water. I was quite surprised how easy they went down as usually I struggle but they are a bit smaller then the standard tablet and so this helped me a lot.

Within around 40 minutes my headache began to fade, I wouldn't say it got rid of it totally but it was a hell of a lot better! The tablets seem to last for four hours which was good as by the time the effects of it were wearing of it meant I could already take some more.

Overall I would definitely recommend these to a friend as they work well and not only that the effects last for a few hours more then most tablets I have took. It's just a shame about the hefty price tag that comes with it!
