Premium Review Opticrom Allergy Eye Drops: My summertime lifesaver...! (335 words)

These eye-drops, I have to say, are my summertime lifesaver. Having just used them 5 minutes ago, I am now back in front of the laptop & can once again see the screen without squinting through teary eyes.... I've had hayfever for many years now. I've tried all the tablets & the nasal sprays, but nothing can effectively control all my symptoms. I find the itchy watery eyes unbearable sometimes & so have to use eye drops in addition to the tablets. I've tried several brands of eye drops recommended by my GP, & these are by far the best. I was in fact allergic to some of the other brands, so my symptoms got worse instead of ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

It`s coming to the time of year that all hayfever suffer`s dont like and being a hayfever sufferer myself I am planning on heading to the GP to get my usual hayfever medication which includes Opticrom eyedrops, Rhinocourt nasal spray and Triludan tablets. Without the Opticrom eyedrops I dont know what I would do during the summer months, they are absolutely execellent. What are the drops used for? Opticrom eyedrops are used for eye allergies, hayfever, dust mites and pet hairs. Opticrom is available both on prescription and over the counter at most chemists. (not sure of the price as I get mine on prescription) Opticrom ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Opticrom Allergy Eye Drops: Top for itchy eyes (273 words)
by - written on 08/12/08 (Very useful, 225 readings)
Rating:

I know that the hay fever peak season seems a long way off at the moment with the current temperatures low enough to freeze my windscreen every morning but Opticrom is an excellent product for treating other eye inflammations as well although like most people I tend to use it most of the time to treat hay fever. Opicrom contains Sodium Cromoglicate and is an excellent eye drop for providing relief for itchy eyes caused by allergic reactions to pollen or dust. It comes in either a small 5ml or 10ml size bottles which are clear plastic and a screw top lid. Inside there is an eye drop aperture for allowing the drops to fall from and this is very effective as only ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review My little miracle (776 words)
by - written on 06/07/01 (Very useful, 675 readings)
Rating:

If my mother had taken out shares in Kleenex tissues when I was a child, she’d probably be a millionaire by now! I have suffered with allergies all my life, particularly hayfever, rhinitis and a reaction to house dust mite. For years I suffered in silence – well not actually silence, more like a fanfare of trumpets from constant nose blowing. Then the doctors started giving me anti histamine tablets, followed by nasal sprays. These did work, but the nasal sprays had to be taken regularly, and the tablets took a while to work. A particular problem was the snot that would pour forth after having a bath/shower. This is very annoying when you are 18 ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Opticrom Allergy Eye Drops: An Instant Soother (350 words)

I was originally prescribe Opticrom by my GP about 10 years ago when I suffered from an eye infection which was bought on by an allergy to nail resin. It didnt help at the time that I had only recently qualified as a nail technician, so was a little annoyed to say the least. Opticrom is a clear colourless allergy eye drop that comes in a 5ml bottle. It contains the active ingredient Sodium Cromoglicate 2.0% w/v which provides soothing relief for itchy allergy eyes. The bottle is only small but I have found that it does last a long time, if your more of a regular user Opticrom is available to buy in a 10ml bottle as ...  Read the complete review
